Our Father's House Youth Pastor

Youth Pastor Steve Taylor and his wife Danise are called to serve the youth at Our Father's House, Steve and Danise heard the call in the year of our Lord 1997. This is one of the scriptures that were given to them for the foundation of the Youth Group at Our Fathers House. One verse that touched Steve and Danise is "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).

Steve and Danise were described by the members of the youth group as being "awesome, always caring and seen by the kids as sensitive to the needs for each and every one of them". The kids pointed out that Steve and Danise are always given to teaching them and one of the scripture that stands out is "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." (Philippians 4:6-8). I was also told that "Steve is Not called a Youth Leader but a Youth Pastor" which means so much more because it defines Steve and Denise's ministry in the Lord Jesus. A Pastor is a Shepherd and described as "Faithful, Fearless, Unselfish, Considerate and Believing" one that will search for the one that is lost, yes a Shepherd describes our Youth Pastor Steve and his wife Danise. One of the statements that stands out regarding the place the Youth Group meets is, "not just a house but a Home". A house is a place that gives shelter but a Home gives shelter with Love raising a standard in the Lord Jesus unto our Heavenly Father.
